About the role
The Telephone Operator is the first point of contact for guests, handling both incoming and outgoing calls. You will provide information, take reservations, and support guests throughout their stay, ensuring a positive experience.
Key responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, transferring them to the appropriate department or individual.
- Take and relay messages accurately, maintain a log of calls, and process room service orders, wake‑up calls, and other guest requests.
- Provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions, and assist with reservations and bookings.
Required profile
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to multitask, handle a high volume of calls, and remain calm under pressure.
- Previous experience in a customer‑service role or as a telephone operator is preferred.
Required skills
- Proficiency in using telephone systems.
- Basic computer skills.
