Test Engineer – Emiratisation (UAE National)

About the role

RAKBANK is seeking a UAE National Test Engineer to join its Technology team. The role focuses on ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of digital banking platforms and customer‑facing applications through comprehensive testing and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and execute test plans, cases and scenarios for banking applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, user‑acceptance and performance testing.
• Identify, document and track software defects, collaborating with development teams for resolution.
• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks to improve release velocity.
• Work closely with developers, analysts, product owners and project teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure solutions meet business and customer expectations.

Required profile

• UAE National (Family Book required).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field.
• Experience in software testing, quality assurance or technology delivery.
• Knowledge of manual and automated testing methodologies and defect management.
• Familiarity with test automation tools, CI/CD pipelines and Agile delivery frameworks.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
