UAE Cadet Pilot – Second in Command

About the role

The UAE Cadet Pilot position supports the Captain or Aircraft Commander as Second in Command, ensuring safe and efficient flight operations in both normal and non‑normal situations. The role acts as a brand ambassador for the airline, upholding high standards of discipline, conduct, and appearance while caring for crew and passengers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Captain in operating flights safely and efficiently.
• Maintain airline brand standards and personal discipline while on duty.
• Ensure duty of care and welfare for crew and customers.
• Support proper fueling, baggage/cargo loading, and aircraft servicing.
• Execute duties according to flydubai Operations Manuals.

Required profile

• High School Diploma.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• 225 hours flying time (age 20‑34) or 1,000 hours (age 35‑50).
• GCAA Air‑law exam (for foreign licence holders).
• ELP level 4 or higher.
• Proof of military service or exemption (preferred).
• 1st Class Medical certificate (ICAO).
• CPL/IR with MCC for Frozen ATPL.
