Vice President Asset Management (Commercial)

About the role

The Vice President of Asset Management (Commercial) will lead the strategic management of Aldar's commercial portfolio, driving value, financial performance and tenant experience across the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement asset strategies to maximise long‑term portfolio value and optimise performance.
• Manage financial performance metrics such as NOI, occupancy, yield and total return, and oversee budgeting and reporting.
• Lead leasing strategies, commercialisation initiatives and tenant‑engagement programmes to boost occupancy and NPS.
• Coordinate asset enhancement and CAPEX projects with Development, Legal, Finance and Operations teams.
• Govern property and facilities service providers through SLAs, KPIs and continuous‑improvement frameworks.
• Partner with internal units and external stakeholders to deliver integrated portfolio initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in real estate, asset management or related advisory fields, with at least 5 years in commercial assets.
• At least 2 years in a managerial role overseeing teams or projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance or Accounting; MBA, CFA, CA or CPA preferred.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and MS Office proficiency.
• Financial modelling and valuation expertise.
• Preparation of investment memoranda, board‑level papers and transaction documentation (NDAs, MoUs, LOIs, SPAs).
