VIP Waitress

About the role

FIVE Hotels and Resorts is hiring a VIP Waitress in Dubai. The role sits within a hospitality group spanning hotels, entertainment, real estate and more, and focuses on delivering a first-in-class, personalised service to VIP guests. The compensation package starts from AED 3,000.

Key responsibilities

• Greet VIP guests warmly on arrival and remember their preferences, keeping guest history records
• Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately, considering dietary requirements
• Present menus and recommend dishes based on guest preferences and ingredient availability
• Anticipate guest needs, handle requests and escalate concerns to the Head of Department
• Process billing and payments following control procedures
• Upsell services and promotions and contribute to revenue growth
• Help with table setup, event and party preparation, and keep the dining area clean
• Follow hygiene and safety standards, including proper handling of utensils and equipment
• Work with the Food and Beverage team and attend team meetings and training sessions

Required profile

• Professional appearance meeting FIVE grooming standards
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus
• Previous 1-2 years of experience as a VIP Waitress in a luxury hotel is a plus
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Excellent communication, customer service and sales skills
