Accountant – Real Estate (Dubai)

About the role

Landwell Properties is looking for a meticulous Accountant to join its finance team in Dubai. The role focuses on managing the company’s financial records, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, and providing insights that support the growing real‑estate portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily sales, purchases and expense transactions using accounting software.
• Maintain accurate ledgers and perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, budgets and VAT returns.
• Monitor expenses and deliver cost‑optimization analysis.
• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards, VAT and DTCM tourism tax; process DTCM payments and landlord financial requests.
• Support external audits with thorough documentation.
• Manage vendor and customer invoices, ensure timely payments, and handle payroll processing and cash deposits.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to streamline financial processes.

Required profile

• ACCA or CPA qualification (or finalist) – preferred.
• 3–4 years of experience in a mid‑to‑senior accounting role, preferably within UAE real‑estate or property management.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Tally.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• In‑depth knowledge of UAE VAT compliance.
