Assistant Manager – Pool & Beach Bar

About the role

Fairmont Ajman is seeking an Assistant Manager for its Pool & Beach Bar. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, you will help drive exceptional service, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency in a vibrant beachfront setting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in daily operations of the pool and beach bar, ensuring high‑quality service and adherence to cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, resolve issues promptly, and support the planning and execution of promotions, events, and seasonal activities.
• Supervise, motivate, and schedule team members; conduct briefings, allocate duties, and support recruitment, onboarding, and training.
• Build strong guest relationships, handle feedback and complaints, and create a welcoming atmosphere aligned with the brand.
• Support revenue targets through upselling, manage inventory, control costs, and assist with reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food‑hygiene regulations and enforce emergency procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 24 months (2 years) of experience in hospitality or food‑and‑beverage operations.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong guest‑service orientation with excellent problem‑solving skills.
• Attention to detail for hygiene, safety, and brand standards.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
