Associate to the CEO

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Associate to the CEO to work directly alongside the Chief Executive Officer of a multi‑entity group active in energy, chemicals, infrastructure and industrial projects. This junior‑level position offers early‑career exposure to high‑impact decision‑making and cross‑functional execution.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a live, structured view of all open commitments and deadlines arising from the CEO’s meetings, follow up with senior internal and external stakeholders, and ensure timely completion.
• Detect early signs of slippage, analyse root causes and present the CEO with recovery plans rather than problems.
• Conduct rapid, structured research on markets, technologies, regulations, counterparties and competitors, delivering decision‑ready briefs with sources and confidence levels.
• Prepare market studies, sector and country briefings, feasibility inputs, financial models and analytical workbooks to support investment and project decisions.
• Draft briefing notes, decision memos, one‑page recommendations, teasers, proposals and board presentations, translating complex technical and commercial information into clear formats.
• Leverage AI tools deliberately to accelerate research and document production while owning the accuracy of all outputs.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of professional experience, preferably in a fast‑moving, analytical environment.
• Ability to quickly learn new technical and commercial domains and work under tight deadlines.
• Strong organisational skills and a results‑oriented mindset.
• Excellent written communication and the capacity to produce high‑quality, decision‑ready documents.
