Business Development Manager – CNC Machined Parts

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to grow sales of CNC‑machined parts and welded fabrications in Sharjah and the wider region. The role focuses on acquiring new industrial customers, managing existing accounts and ensuring seamless delivery of precision‑engineered components.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and win local and export customers such as OEMs, equipment manufacturers and oil & gas firms for CNC‑machined components and welded fabrications.
• Develop and execute account plans, generate enquiries through visits, networking and referrals, and convert them into trial orders, repeat business and long‑term supply agreements.
• Gather technical requirements, collaborate with estimation, engineering and production teams to confirm feasibility, pricing and lead times, and present accurate quotations.
• Maintain ownership of the customer journey from enquiry to delivery, coordinate with production and quality teams, and support finance with payment follow‑up.
• Record all activities in the CRM, provide regular forecasts, monitor competitor activity and contribute to sales budgeting.

Required profile

• Proven B2B sales or business development experience in CNC machining, precision engineering or a related subcontract manufacturing sector.
• Track record of winning industrial customers and an established network of procurement or engineering contacts is a strong advantage.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and discuss materials, tolerances, machining processes and manufacturing requirements.
• Commercial understanding of quotation preparation, pricing, gross margin and payment terms.
• Qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing or a related discipline is preferred; a valid driving licence and willingness to travel regularly are required.
