Business Unit Head – Branded Business

About the role

Sun Pharma is seeking a Business Unit Head for its Branded Business in Dubai. The leader will drive the performance of the branded and innovative product portfolio, shape commercial strategy and position the company as a market leader across key markets.

Key responsibilities

• Overall P&L management for the Branded Business portfolio.
• Define and execute annual business plans and long‑term strategy to drive revenue growth, profitability and market share.
• Identify new business opportunities and strategically expand the product portfolio.
• Allocate resources optimally to maximise ROI.
• Lead development and execution of brand strategies, marketing plans and commercial initiatives.
• Achieve and exceed sales, market‑share and margin targets.
• Plan and execute end‑to‑end product launches, including new indications and formulations.
• Manage product lifecycle performance and adoption of biologics and specialty therapies.
• Integrate and lead cross‑functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access) with clear KPIs and incentive structures.
• Build succession pipelines and develop future leaders.
• Establish and maintain relationships with KOLs, dermatologists, hospital pharmacists and public‑sector stakeholders.
• Gather market insights, drive market‑intelligence systems and ensure alignment between global strategy, regional priorities and local execution.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in pharmaceutical commercial business.
• Strong track record of delivering revenue and profit growth.
• Ability to lead high‑performing, cross‑functional teams.
• Experience in product launch and lifecycle management.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship‑building skills.
• Capability to develop talent and succession pipelines.
