Cafeteria Commis I – Full‑time at Marriott Dubai

About the role

The Cafeteria Commis I supports the kitchen team by preparing special and cold meals, maintaining food quality, and ensuring proper portioning and presentation. This full‑time position works on‑site at the Palm West Beach location in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare special meals, substitute items, and cold foods according to recipes and quality standards.
• Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters and manage food thawing from freezer to refrigerator.
• Maintain food logs, monitor food quantity and quality, and inform chefs of excess items for daily specials.
• Communicate menu specials and out‑of‑stock items to Food & Beverage service staff.
• Ensure proper portion arrangement, garnish, and presentation of all dishes.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree (or equivalent).
• At least 3 years of related food‑service experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
