Charge Nurse (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

PureHealth is looking for an experienced Charge Nurse to lead nursing teams at its Abu Dhabi facility. The role involves overseeing clinical quality, ensuring compliance with UAE health regulations, and driving continuous improvement across nursing units.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff and enforce hospital policies, quality standards, and UAE healthcare regulations.
• Develop, implement, and monitor quality improvement initiatives within nursing departments.
• Conduct audits, performance reviews, and compliance checks for clinical documentation and patient care protocols.
• Support accreditation processes such as JCI, DOH, and DHA and maintain readiness for inspections.
• Analyze quality indicators, prepare reports for management and regulatory bodies.
• Coordinate staff training on quality standards, infection control, and patient safety.
• Investigate incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Valid DHA/DOH/MOH nursing license or eligibility in the UAE.
• Minimum 5 years of nursing experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Strong knowledge of clinical governance, quality assurance, and risk management.
