Chinese & English Speaking Procurement Sourcing Agent

About the role

TradesApp is seeking a bilingual Chinese‑English Procurement Sourcing Agent based in the UAE to act as the communication bridge between our Dubai team and Chinese manufacturers. You will support supplier discovery, negotiation, and order coordination while ensuring clear, accurate translation of all business documents.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and source manufacturers, suppliers, and products from China using platforms such as Alibaba, 1688, Taobao and WeChat.
• Contact factories directly to obtain quotations, specifications, samples, production timelines and MOQs.
• Compare suppliers on price, quality, reliability and lead times, then negotiate pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate samples, prototypes, production orders and shipments from China to the UAE.
• Maintain organized records of suppliers, quotations, orders and ongoing negotiations.
• Translate written communication, quotations, contracts, invoices and product information between Mandarin Chinese and English.
• Provide real‑time interpretation during calls and meetings.
• Monitor supplier performance, track deadlines and escalate any quality, pricing or delivery issues.

Required profile

• Fluent or native‑level Mandarin Chinese.
• Strong professional English, both written and spoken.
• Currently residing in the UAE, preferably Dubai.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Comfortable dealing directly with Chinese factories and partners.
