Civil Substation Site Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Civil Substation Site Engineer to lead civil construction activities on substation projects in Dubai. You will ensure that all works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise civil construction of foundations, control buildings, cable trenches, equipment plinths, and access roads.
• Execute works in line with approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations on site.
• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and design teams for seamless project execution.
• Monitor daily site activities, manpower, and subcontractor performance.
• Conduct site inspections to verify material usage and workmanship.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Manage quantities, measurements, and support billing/invoicing processes.
• Implement QA/QC procedures throughout the construction phase.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in substation construction projects (preferably 132 kV / 400 kV).
• UAE driving licence is mandatory.
