Commis Chef (Level 3) – Restaurant Kitchen

About the role

We are seeking a Commis Chef (Level 3) to join a fast‑growing restaurant group that is opening new outlets in Ras Al Khaimah. Reporting to the Executive Chef via the Sous Chef, you will work in a dynamic kitchen environment delivering high‑quality dishes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and plate food items according to the Executive Chef’s standards.
• Monitor stock movement, place orders for your section and assist with inventory control.
• Carry out daily temperature checks, food labeling, dating and proper storage procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe kitchen by addressing hazards, following hygiene regulations and reporting equipment issues.
• Assist with receiving deliveries, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
• Support opening and closing kitchen routines and step in on other sections when needed.

Required profile

• Ability to work under pressure for long hours in a busy kitchen.
• Punctual, reliable and able to follow senior chef instructions.
• Commitment to personal hygiene, uniform standards and teamwork.
• Willingness to attend meetings, training sessions and comply with reasonable requests.

Required skills

• Food preparation and cooking techniques.
• Food safety practices including temperature checks and proper labeling.
• Stock management and ordering.
• Knowledge of hygiene, sanitation and fire safety procedures.
