Demi Chef de Partie – Baker

About the role

The Demi Chef de Partie – Baker supports the Chef de Partie in preparing, baking, and presenting a variety of breads, pastries, cakes and desserts for the hotel’s dining outlets and events. This position requires creativity, attention to detail and a passion for delivering high‑quality baked goods that meet InterContinental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Chef de Partie in the preparation and production of breads, pastries, cakes and desserts.
• Maintain consistency, quality and presentation of all bakery items.
• Help plan and execute new bakery and pastry recipes for restaurants, banquets and special events.
• Support daily mise en place, stock control and hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Contribute to menu development by creating seasonal and special‑occasion bakery items.
• Manage proper storage of ingredients and finished products to ensure food safety and freshness.
