About the role
The Dental Assistant will work within Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Hospital, supporting dentists in delivering safe, high‑quality oral care. The role involves chair‑side assistance, instrument preparation, and patient guidance in line with M42, DOH and DHA standards.
Key responsibilities
- Provide chair‑side assistance during examinations, treatments and specialised dental procedures.
- Prepare, clean, sterilise and maintain dental instruments, equipment and clinical areas according to infection‑control protocols.
- Ensure treatment rooms are ready before appointments and efficiently restored afterwards.
- Support patient preparation and deliver appropriate pre‑ and post‑treatment instructions.
- Maintain accurate patient records, clinical documentation and appointment information in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with clinicians and administrative teams to facilitate smooth patient flow and clinic operations.
