About the role

The General Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment and systems within the hotel property in Dubai. This role ensures the smooth operation of machinery through preventive maintenance, timely troubleshooting, and collaboration with the wider maintenance team.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks on mechanical equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues promptly.
• Use tools and equipment to install, dismantle, and assemble mechanical components.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications for accurate assembly and repairs.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and ensure equipment functionality.
• Execute repairs and replace faulty components to maintain optimal performance.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including inspections and repairs.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to prioritize and schedule tasks efficiently.
• Provide support during equipment installations and modifications.
• Assist in maintaining an organized inventory of spare parts and equipment.
• Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
