Hostess for Dining Outlets

About the role

The Hostess will be the first point of contact for members and guests dining at the club’s standalone outlets. You will create a welcoming atmosphere, manage reservations and seating, and support smooth service during busy periods and special events.

Key responsibilities

• Greet members and guests courteously, escort them to tables and present menus.
• Manage reservations and waitlists using the club’s booking system, providing accurate wait‑time information.
• Coordinate table turnover to maximise dining room efficiency, especially during peak times and tournaments.
• Communicate seating updates to servers and management, monitoring dining room and patio capacities.
• Assist with special requests such as dietary needs, accessible seating, and large parties.
• Handle guest concerns or complaints professionally, escalating when necessary.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming entrance, reception area, and hostess stand.
• Support patio and outdoor dining service during tournaments and events.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a standalone F&B outlet (independent restaurant, fine‑dining or high‑end lounge).
• Full flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays and extended hours during peak golf season.
• Well‑groomed, presentable and polished in line with club standards.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Calm, friendly demeanour and professionalism under pressure.

Required skills

• Familiarity with reservation systems.
• Experience with POS software (preferred).
