Lab Technician – Al Maharat Campus

About the role

The UAE National Laboratory Technician will support the Al Maharat campus laboratory by preparing equipment, conducting experiments, and ensuring a safe, well‑documented environment for students and faculty.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory equipment, instruments, and materials for practical sessions and testing.
• Perform laboratory procedures according to established protocols.
• Maintain and service laboratory equipment, coordinating repairs when needed.
• Monitor inventory, order supplies, and manage waste disposal in line with safety guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and infection‑control regulations.
• Assist faculty, instructors, and students during lab sessions.
• Carry out quality‑control checks and report any equipment malfunctions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
• Knowledge of laboratory procedures, equipment, and safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Minimum two years of relevant laboratory experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
