Logistics Process Planning Manager

About the role

JD.com is seeking a data‑driven Logistics Process Planning Manager to design, optimise and modernise warehouse and sorting networks across the Middle East. The role combines industrial engineering with advanced automation technologies to turn complex operational data into efficient CAD layouts and robust ROI models.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end process layout engineering for warehouses and sorting centres, including data analysis, process design, route design, equipment selection and functional area layout.
• Produce detailed CAD layout plans and ROI analyses to improve logistics efficiency and reduce operating costs.
• Design and implement automation solutions, selecting equipment, defining layouts and integrating with WMS, WCS and TMS systems.
• Participate in pre‑sales projects: communicate with customers, interpret RFPs, develop process plans and write technical bid documents.
• Contribute to the development and standardisation of layout and process standards for the region.

Required profile

• Proven experience in logistics or warehouse process planning and layout engineering.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate operational data into actionable designs.
• Familiarity with European and international automated logistics technologies and scenarios.
• Experience preparing technical proposals and responding to RFPs.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with internal system teams (WMS, WCS, TMS).
