Manager Financial Audit

About the role

The Manager Financial Audit will lead risk‑based audit initiatives across financial processes, ensuring robust controls and compliance with regulatory standards. You will partner with business leaders to drive actionable improvements and uphold the highest standards of financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive risk‑based audit plans covering financial reporting, treasury, tax, AP/AR, payroll, and capital expenditures.
• Manage the full audit lifecycle from scoping and planning through fieldwork, reporting, and remediation tracking.
• Prepare clear, concise audit reports for senior leadership, highlighting risks, control gaps, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with process owners to create practical action plans, set remediation timelines, and monitor progress.
• Stay current on IFRS, regulatory requirements, and emerging industry risks to keep audit approaches relevant.
• Drive continuous improvement of audit methodologies, leveraging data analytics and automation tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification (CIA, CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent) required.
• 6‑8 years of progressive experience in internal audit, external audit, or financial control functions.
• 2‑3 years of supervisory or managerial experience leading audit teams.
• Proven experience auditing financial processes, ICOFR, and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with risk‑based audit methodologies and frameworks (COSO, IIA Standards).
• Background in data analytics and audit automation tools is preferred.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and GAAP accounting principles.
• Understanding of internal control frameworks such as COSO and IIA Standards.
• Proficiency with data analytics tools and audit management software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, data visualization tools, and ERP systems.
