New Energy Business Specialist

About the role

Puneng Group is expanding its new‑energy portfolio across the Middle East. As a New Energy Business Specialist you will drive commercial growth for solar PV, energy storage and micro‑grid projects, working closely with a high‑performing team to accelerate the region’s green transition.

Key responsibilities

• Develop the regional C&I market for solar PV, energy storage, micro‑grid and other new‑energy solutions.
• Identify and approach potential clients such as industrial parks, factories, commercial complexes, labor camps, schools and hospitals.
• Conduct site surveys, gather project data and coordinate with technical teams to design feasible solutions.
• Negotiate contracts, secure project agreements and ensure timely delivery in partnership with design, procurement and engineering departments.
• Maintain relationships with government agencies, grid operators, design institutes and key partners.
• Monitor industry policies, market trends and competitor activity to shape regional market development plans.
• Achieve sales, contracting and collection targets set by the company.

Required profile

• Associate degree or higher, preferably in Marketing, Electrical Engineering, New Energy, Power Systems or International Trade.
• At least 1 year of sales experience; experience in solar PV, energy storage or engineering project development is a plus.
• Strong goal orientation, self‑motivation and ability to work under sales pressure with frequent travel.
• Excellent communication, presentation and independent negotiation skills.

Required skills

• Understanding of solar PV system principles and key equipment (modules, inverters, mounting structures).
• Knowledge of PV project development processes (permitting, grid connection, acceptance) and relevant standards.
• Ability to prepare basic solution presentations and conduct feasibility assessments.
