Pharmacy Attender

About the role

The Pharmacy Attender will ensure high‑quality care and service for patients and their families. Acting as the main point of contact, the role involves introducing pharmacy services, updating patients on prescription status, and coordinating between the clinic, procurement team, and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse clinic prescriptions and guarantee 100% reach the pharmacy.
• Greet and assist every customer, ensuring no one is left unattended.
• Confirm receipt of prescriptions promptly and provide accurate information to patients.
• Facilitate timely medication dispensing and communicate any delays.
• Coordinate home deliveries with delivery staff and keep patients informed.
• Maintain professional communication and address customer queries.
• Support the pharmacy manager in implementing MOH‑compliant SOPs and documentation.
• Collaborate with procurement on medicine shortages and manage stock arrangement.
• Observe sales staff, report concerns, and participate in monthly review meetings with improvement ideas.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• Ability to speak and understand the local language.
• Basic English communication skills are helpful.
