QA Engineer – Airline IROPS

About the role

Envision Employment Solutions is seeking a QA Engineer to support a global consulting partner in testing airline Irregular Operations (IROPS) systems. The role focuses on ensuring high‑quality performance of flight disruption, passenger re‑accommodation, crew recovery and airport operations workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Perform functional testing of IROPS modules covering flight disruptions, cancellations, re‑accommodation and delay management.
• Design, execute and maintain End‑to‑End, System Integration and User Acceptance testing scenarios.
• Collaborate with Operations Control, Airport Operations and IT teams during disruption simulations.
• Document defects, conduct root‑cause analysis and verify fixes.
• Support test automation using Selenium, Playwright or REST Assured and assist with performance/load testing during peak scenarios.
• Prepare test documentation, defect reports and progress updates for stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of QA experience within the airline industry, specifically with IROPS systems.
• Hands‑on experience with GDS/PSS platforms such as Amadeus Altéa.
• Understanding of NDC and IATA disruption standards.
• Fluent in Arabic and English or proven experience in a Western market.
