Registered Nurse - ICU

About the role

The Registered Nurse – ICU will join a multidisciplinary team at Royal Khalifa City Hospital, delivering safe, compassionate, and individualized care to critically ill patients. The role supports the NMC Nursing Strategy and contributes to an outstanding patient experience.

Key responsibilities

• Perform systematic patient assessments, develop and monitor individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and allied health professionals.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Provide advanced life support (BLS, PALS, ACLS, Neonatal Resuscitation) and respond to Code Blue situations.
• Insert and manage invasive lines, CRRT, haemodialysis, lumbar puncture, drains, tracheostomy, IABP, and thermoregulation equipment.
• Deliver wound care, pre‑operative and post‑operative nursing care, and assist with both invasive and non‑invasive procedures.
• Document all patient information accurately and ensure timely escalation of abnormalities.

Required profile

• Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse with the relevant UAE health authority.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider card.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both spoken and written.
• Willingness to work across departments as needed.
• Commitment to maintain professional re‑licensure.
