Reservations Agent

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Reservations Agent to join our team at Sofitel Dubai the Obelisk. You will play a key part in converting enquiries into bookings and supporting our revenue management strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Understand Accor’s pricing strategies, rate restrictions and availability across all market segments.
• Convert telephone calls into sales and apply effective upselling techniques.
• Take and manage reservations via phone and email, ensuring accuracy in the PMS database.
• Maintain up‑to‑date market segmentation and rate plan information for each booking.
• Handle guest queries and complaints related to room reservations.
• Collaborate with the sales team on special events and client entertainment.
• Identify sales opportunities with corporate accounts, wholesalers and travel management companies.
• Ensure compliance with Accor’s Core Reservation Standards and achieve LQA mystery‑shopping targets.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 month experience in hotel reservations or a related hospitality role.
• Familiarity with hotel rate plans, market segments and distribution channels.
• Ability to handle phone and email reservations efficiently.
