Sales Assistant – Retail (Market Hall)

About the role
The Sales Assistant plays a key role in generating sales and delivering exceptional customer experiences within the market hall area at IKEA Jebel Ali. The position supports operational duties assigned by the shopkeeper, such as arranging products and maintaining the sales floor.
Key responsibilities
- Generate sales and meet or exceed weekly sales targets.
- Greet customers promptly with a smile and provide product information.
- Maintain a clean, organized store environment and adhere to IKEA standards.
- Participate in market hall inventories to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Complete duties assigned by the shopkeeper and attend all store meetings.
Required profile
- High School Degree.
- Minimum of 1 year retail sales experience.
- Physical fitness to lift stock items and stand for at least 8 hours.
- Ability to follow schedules and store policies consistently.
Required skills
- Excellent verbal communication.
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service.
- Physical fitness to handle and lift stock items.
