About the role
We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join TotalEnergies in Dubai. The role involves managing day‑to‑day accounting activities, ensuring accurate SAP postings, and supporting both the controlling and tax teams.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and analyze general ledger accounts, perform aging and clearing follow‑up.
- Reconcile fixed assets, support CAPEX analysis, and prepare depreciation schedules.
- Handle intercompany monthly reconciliation and foreign exchange revaluation.
- Assist the tax team with VAT account clearing and essential analyses.
- Oversee the full accounts payable cycle, ensure proper SAP documentation, and manage accruals.
- Prepare free‑zone financial statements and support external auditors.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or a higher qualification.
- 10+ years of experience in accounting, auditing, or fiscal domains.
- Strong analytical reasoning and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent command of English and effective interpersonal skills.
Required skills
- SAP knowledge and experience.
- Understanding of IFRS 16 assessments and calculations.
