Senior Operations Training Instructor

About the role

The Senior Operations Training Instructor will deliver technical instruction and evaluations for Operations personnel and key management staff at Barakah Nuclear Power Plant (BNPP). The role includes initial, re‑qualification, and management certification training, as well as the development and administration of FANR exams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver classroom training and evaluation material that meets WANO and FANR standards.
• Design, develop, deliver, implement and evaluate certified and non‑certified operator training programs in compliance with the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT).
• Validate and administer FANR exams to ensure personnel maintain required qualifications.
• Conduct written, simulator and job performance evaluations without compromise.
• Provide training on operational procedures, eSOMS, and nuclear technologies to Nawah management.
• Monitor corrective action program (CAP) items to prevent overdue actions and ensure quality improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum High School certification; 5 years relevant experience, including at least 3 months in a nuclear power plant.
• Certified qualified instructor for the material presented; senior reactor operator certification preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of instructional techniques and training delivery.
• Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a scientific discipline and 3 years of nuclear operations training experience.
