About the role
The Shopping Experience Assistant supports the Info desk at IKEA Jebel Ali, assisting customers with returns, exchanges, cash handling and child‑safety services. The role ensures smooth, friendly interactions and escalates issues to management when needed.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers, provide shopping tools and catalogues, and manage the Info and Returns & Exchange desks.
- Handle returns, exchanges and cash transactions accurately, following SOPs and preparing regular transaction reports.
- Oversee child safety in Smaland, make announcements and assist parents as required.
- Book IKEA services such as Home Delivery, Assembly and Measurement, and follow up on out‑of‑stock items.
Required profile
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar customer‑service role.
- Proficiency in English; Arabic is preferred.
