Sommelier – Luxury Hotel Wine Specialist

About the role

The Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach is seeking a dedicated Sommelier to lead its wine program across multiple dining venues. You will be the wine ambassador, curating an extensive list, guiding guests, and collaborating with the culinary team to enhance the overall dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Curate and maintain an extensive, up‑to‑date wine list that reflects current trends and guest preferences.
• Assist guests in selecting wines that complement their meals and personal tastes.
• Oversee proper wine storage, cellar organization, and inventory control.
• Conduct regular wine training sessions for front‑of‑house staff.
• Work closely with the kitchen to develop wine‑pairing recommendations.
• Ensure smooth and efficient wine service during peak periods.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a similar sommelier or wine‑service role.
• Strong communication skills for guest interaction and staff training.
• Ability to recommend wines based on individual preferences and food pairings.
• Passion for staying current with industry trends and expanding wine knowledge.
• Relevant certifications or formal wine education are a plus.
