Specialist – Group Strategy (Emiratized)

About the role

The Group Strategy team at First Abu Dhabi Bank shapes the bank’s long‑term direction across all businesses and regions. As a Specialist – Group Strategy (Emiratized) you will support research, analysis and problem‑solving that feed into strategic decisions and projects.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct structured research on banking, macro‑economic, regulatory and competitive topics.
• Analyse financial, economic and market data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Build and maintain Excel‑based models for scenario evaluation and business case development.
• Prepare high‑quality presentation materials that clearly communicate insights to senior team members.
• Support execution of strategic workstreams by coordinating inputs, tracking progress and ensuring analytical rigor.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce or a related discipline from a top‑tier university.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience, preferably with exposure to financial statements and market data.
• Strong knowledge of banking financials, economics and quantitative modelling.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, work independently and influence without formal authority.
