Technical Engineer – Civil / Architectural

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Technical Engineer (Civil or Architectural) to join our construction team in the UAE. The role involves preparing, reviewing and coordinating technical drawings and documentation to ensure compliance with project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review shop, detailed and construction drawings.
• Review project drawings, specifications and BOQs to identify technical requirements and discrepancies.
• Prepare and submit RFIs, material submittals, method statements and other technical documents.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to resolve technical issues.
• Review and coordinate civil and architectural works with MEP and structural drawings.
• Conduct site visits to verify drawings and ensure proper execution of works.
• Assist with quantity take‑offs and technical measurements when required.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant construction experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, specifications and coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and MEP drawings.
• Good communication and coordination skills, able to work independently or as part of a team.
