Technician - Digital Delivery

About the role

The Digital Delivery Technician will lead the development and implementation of advanced BIM strategies for large‑scale construction projects in Abu Dhabi. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure BIM integration throughout the project lifecycle and support data‑driven decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement BIM workflows for complex construction projects.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams to ensure effective BIM integration.
• Create sophisticated 3D models, perform clash detection, and coordinate using Autodesk Revit and Navisworks.
• Analyze and optimise building designs for efficiency, sustainability and constructability.
• Generate detailed reports and visualisations to support decision‑making.
• Mentor and train junior BIM specialists and project team members.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and contractors to resolve design and construction challenges.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and standards in Abu Dhabi and the UAE.
• Stay current with BIM technologies and industry best practices, implementing innovative solutions.
• Lead BIM‑related meetings and presentations with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering or a related field.
• Autodesk Certified Professional or equivalent BIM certification.
• Minimum 5 years of BIM implementation and management experience on large‑scale projects in the Middle East.
• In‑depth knowledge of UAE building codes, standards and local construction practices.
• Strong understanding of sustainable design principles and their application in BIM.
