Volleyball Lead Coach – Performance‑Oriented Role

About the role

Fortes Education is seeking a Volleyball Lead Coach to head its high‑performance volleyball programme across its Dubai schools. The role focuses on building elite squads from upper primary to Sixth Form and delivering success in school leagues and external competitions.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and deliver high‑quality training sessions, including early‑morning, lunchtime and after‑school squads.
• Lead the curriculum volleyball programme in collaboration with PE staff, ensuring alignment with learning outcomes.
• Select, manage and coach school squads for local (DASSA) and international tournaments, committing to after‑school and weekend fixtures.
• Analyse performance data, develop match strategies and set‑play systems, and conduct regular progress assessments.
• Mentor junior coaches and work closely with the Director of Sport and Head of PE.

Required profile

• FIVB Level 2 (or equivalent) coaching certification.
• Proven track record coaching high‑performing school, club or academy teams.
• Background as a competitive volleyball player or coach at elite or national level.
• Demonstrated success preparing squads for local and international tournaments.
