Business Development Executive – Furniture

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Business Development Executive to expand our furniture portfolio across the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new leads, building relationships with key industry players, and closing sales to drive revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new furniture opportunities with businesses and individual customers.
• Generate leads through cold calling, research, networking, referrals and on‑site visits.
• Build and maintain relationships with interior designers, architects, fit‑out contractors, developers and procurement teams.
• Arrange and attend client meetings, showroom appointments and presentations.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable furniture and bespoke solutions.
• Prepare proposals and quotations in coordination with internal teams.
• Negotiate commercial terms, follow up on opportunities and close sales.
• Develop repeat business and long‑term partnerships while maintaining accurate lead records.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably within the furniture industry.
• Demonstrated ability to independently generate leads and convert them into sales.
• Existing network in the UAE furniture, interior design or construction market is a strong advantage.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Proactive approach with consistent follow‑up and ownership of sales results.
