Business Development Manager – Asset Performance

About the role

Bilfinger is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead market expansion and drive profitable growth for its Asset Performance business in the UAE. You will own the UAE sales strategy, build executive‑level customer relationships and manage complex sales pursuits from opportunity identification through contract award.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the UAE sales and business development strategy, building a healthy pipeline of new and existing customers.
• Maintain executive‑level relationships with strategic accounts, creating account strategies to grow market share and wallet size.
• Identify, qualify and pursue high‑value opportunities, shaping commercial proposals, value propositions and bid plans.
• Lead negotiations, coordinate cross‑functional teams and ensure profitable contract delivery.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and regulatory changes, providing intelligence to senior leadership.
• Deliver bookings, revenue and margin targets while maintaining accurate forecasting in Salesforce.

Required profile

• 8‑10+ years of business development, sales or commercial leadership experience in UAE energy, petrochemical, industrial services or process industries.
• Proven track record of winning major service contracts and managing complex bids or tenders.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen with excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
• Existing network across major UAE industrial operators and stakeholders.
• Engineering qualification (Mechanical or Process) is preferred.

Required skills

• Experience using CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce.
• Technical understanding of rotating and static equipment and asset performance solutions.
