About the role
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth across the Middle East for our speaking and events platform. Based remotely in Dubai, you will identify new opportunities, build client relationships and negotiate partnerships that expand our reach.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct market research to uncover potential clients and industry trends in the Middle East.
- Generate leads, qualify prospects and manage the full sales cycle from outreach to contract signing.
- Develop and execute strategies to increase the client base and revenue.
- Negotiate partnership terms and commission structures with speakers and organisations.
- Collaborate with the global team to align sales activities with overall business objectives.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM and provide regular sales forecasts.
Required profile
- Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably within the speaking, events or related services sector.
- Strong ability to conduct market analysis and strategic planning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging diverse stakeholders.
- Self‑motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field is preferred.
Required skills
- Proficiency with CRM tools.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with sales enablement platforms.
