Business Development Manager – Refrigerant Recovery

About the role

Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager – Refrigerant Recovery with strong exposure to the UAE HVAC, refrigeration, facilities management and district‑cooling markets. The role is field‑based and focuses on building relationships with contractors, service organisations and OEMs to generate recoverable refrigerant volumes for projects.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach HVAC, facilities‑management, refrigeration and district‑cooling companies handling significant refrigerant volumes.
• Develop relationships with decision‑makers, service managers and technical teams and sign commercial partnerships for refrigerant access.
• Spot equipment replacement, retrofit, de‑commissioning and servicing opportunities that create recoverable refrigerant.
• Coordinate with licensed recovery and logistics partners to convert opportunities into actual collections.
• Maintain an active pipeline of partners, sites and expected refrigerant volumes and grow existing partnerships.

Required profile

• Strong UAE business‑development or commercial experience in HVAC, refrigeration, facilities‑management or district‑cooling.
• Established network of contractors, service companies and technical decision‑makers in the UAE market.
• Field‑oriented professional comfortable visiting sites, workshops and technical teams.
• Commercially driven with proven ability to convert relationships into measurable business volumes.
• Fluent English; Hindi/Urdu preferred; Arabic an advantage; UAE driving licence preferred.

Required skills

• Detailed refrigerant recovery experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems and terminology.
