About the role
The Category Manager will lead the strategy, P&L and growth of the Home Appliances portfolio for a leading retail brand in the UAE. This role involves building strong vendor relationships and driving category performance through data‑driven decisions.
Key responsibilities
- Own category strategy, P&L and sales growth for Major and Small Domestic Appliances.
- Identify and onboard leading UAE home appliance brands and local vendors.
- Build and manage strong vendor relationships, negotiate commercial terms and develop strategic partnerships.
- Drive product assortment, pricing, promotions and availability.
- Monitor market trends, identify new business opportunities and use insights to improve performance.
Required profile
- 12+ years of experience in Home Appliances, E‑commerce or Retail.
- Strong knowledge of UAE local home appliance vendors, distributors and brands.
- Proven vendor negotiation and partnership‑management experience.
- Strong commercial, analytical and P&L management skills.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel
- SQL (knowledge is an advantage)
