Events Executive - DMCC

About the role

7 Management, a hospitality and management group established in 2015, is hiring an Events Executive in Dubai. The role supports the Sales Manager - Events in driving event sales and managing events from initial enquiry through to execution, including the relationship between 7 Management and DMCC. It also converts enquiries into bookings, manages event budgets and pricing, and works with the Events Coordinator.

Key responsibilities

• Sales and business development: handle event enquiries, conduct site visits, prepare proposals and quotations, convert leads into bookings and deliver against revenue targets.
• Client relationship management: build long-term relationships with corporate and private clients to secure repeat business and referrals.
• DMCC relationship management: manage the relationship with DMCC, attend meetings, follow through on agreed decisions and identify joint event opportunities.
• Budgets, pricing and contracts: set event pricing and budgets, negotiate supplier terms and finalize client contracts and permits.
• Event execution and oversight: oversee event execution, review event plans, manage on-site execution for key events and VIP clients, and ensure events meet the required standard.
• Sales reporting: maintain the sales pipeline and report on sales, revenue and event profitability to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in event sales or event management within hospitality or a similar field; experience with free zone authorities or corporate partners is a plus.
• Proven sales, negotiation and budget management skills.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills, with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple events under pressure and work evenings and weekends as required.
