IT Executive – Network & Systems Support

About the role

The IT Executive will ensure the reliability and performance of the company’s IT infrastructure. This hands‑on role covers network, server and cloud environments, providing prompt technical assistance to keep business operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, install and maintain networking hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls and wireless access points.
• Diagnose and resolve network issues including connectivity, performance and security incidents.
• Monitor network health, optimise performance and plan capacity to meet organisational needs.
• Set up and manage VLANs, subnets, IP routing, VPNs and both LAN and WAN connections.
• Maintain internal and external cloud‑based networks and oversee database storage and server platforms.
• Support network security by handling firewall rules, intrusion detection/prevention systems and VPN configurations.
• Document configurations, procedures and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
• Provide on‑site and remote assistance for end‑users on network‑related problems.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in IT support, networking and system administration.
• Hands‑on experience configuring and troubleshooting MacBook devices.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and clear communication skills.
• Capacity to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
