IT Intern – 6-Month Internship in Dubai

About the role

We are looking for a proactive IT Intern to join Accor’s hotel team in Dubai for a six‑month placement. You will gain hands‑on experience supporting the hotel’s technology infrastructure and ensuring a seamless guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily IT support to all hotel departments (Front Office, Finance, F&B, etc.).
• Maintain and monitor PMS and POS systems, as well as Wi‑Fi and network connectivity for guests and staff.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on computers, printers, servers, switches and mobile devices.
• Manage user access, permissions and passwords in line with security policies.
• Perform regular system backups, updates and antivirus protection.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and software licensing records.
• Assist with new system installations, upgrades and hotel openings or renovations.
• Support basic guest technology requests when needed.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Strong communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Service‑oriented, able to work under pressure in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.
• Flexible to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Understanding of networking concepts and Wi‑Fi management.
• Familiarity with hotel PMS and POS systems.
• Experience with user access management and system backup procedures.
