IT Service Management Consultant (1-year Fixed-Term)

About the role

This role leads the development and enhancement of IT Service Management practices across a mature technology environment for a leading investment organisation. You will partner with technology and business stakeholders to improve service quality, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and optimise ITSM processes including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Asset and Configuration Management.
• Configure and enhance ITSM workflows, service catalogues, SLAs, approvals and integrations across enterprise platforms.
• Drive automation initiatives and leverage AI capabilities to improve service delivery and reduce manual effort.
• Manage CMDB governance, configuration data quality and IT asset lifecycle management activities.
• Develop performance dashboards, reporting frameworks and continuous‑improvement programmes to raise operational maturity.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years experience in IT Service Management, IT Operations or ITSM consulting.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL best practices and service‑management frameworks.
• Hands‑on experience with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow, Jira Service Management or ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus.
• Understanding of CMDB administration, IT asset management and governance controls.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related field; ITIL Foundation certification preferred.
