QA/QC Engineer – Civil (Power Plant EPC)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer specialized in civil works for a power plant EPC project located at Taweelah Independent Power Plant, KIZAD, Abu Dhabi. The role involves ensuring that all construction activities meet approved drawings, specifications, and international quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the Project Quality Plan, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and QA/QC procedures.
• Monitor construction activities for compliance with drawings, specifications, method statements and project requirements.
• Conduct inspections, coordinate Inspection Requests (IRs) with client/consultant and review material approvals, certificates and test reports.
• Raise, track and close NCRs, observations and corrective actions.
• Maintain QA/QC records, inspection reports, test results and quality documentation.
• Support internal quality inspections, project audits and preparation of QA/QC dossiers for hand‑over.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, testing laboratories and third‑party inspection agencies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience on EPC and power‑plant projects, preferably in the UAE.
• Proven experience in developing and applying ITPs, method statements and handling NCRs.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem‑solving abilities.
