About the role
The Reservations Agent will handle all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations for The Ritz‑Carlton in Dubai, ensuring guests receive accurate information and exceptional service.
Key responsibilities
- Process reservation requests received by phone, fax, or mail and verify room availability and rates.
- Explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers and document special requests.
- Input and manage reservation data, including complimentary rooms, employee discounts, and travel‑agent rates.
- Follow sales techniques to maximize revenue and adhere to escalation procedures for guest concerns.
- Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality, and compliance with all company policies.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- No prior related work experience required.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 10 pounds.
