Senior Construction Engineer – Completion/ICAPs (Offshore)

About the role

Penspen is urgently seeking a Senior Construction Engineer to lead completion and ICAPs activities on offshore projects in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on wellhead towers, subsea cable systems, piping, and brownfield modifications, ensuring smooth handover from construction to commissioning and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage construction completion, punch‑list management, inspection/test records, and turnover activities for offshore facilities.
• Use ICAPS or equivalent systems to record, systemize, and verify completion data across wells, cables, and piping.
• Lead completion activities for offshore areas, establishing priorities aligned with commissioning and start‑up requirements.
• Interface with Construction, Completion, Commissioning, QA/QC, Engineering, Operations, subcontractors, and the client.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (relevant discipline) from an accredited university.
• Minimum 20 years of experience, including 5‑8 years on offshore oil & gas projects.
• Proven background in mechanical completion, systemization, punch‑list management, and pre‑commissioning handover.
• Experience with PMC/EPC environments; ADNOC offshore experience is an advantage.
