Senior Engineer – Assets Reliability & Systems – Mechanical

About the role

Dubai Airports is expanding its engineering services team and seeks a Senior Engineer to lead reliability and asset management for mechanical systems, particularly HVAC, across the airport. You will own the full asset lifecycle, from creation to disposal, driving reliability and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct reliability assessments and failure analysis for HVAC systems, including chillers, hydraulic networks, pumping systems and BMS.
• Develop and implement reliability improvement plans to enhance performance and reduce downtime.
• Lead root‑cause investigations and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to optimise maintenance strategies and asset lifecycle management.
• Monitor health and performance trends through data analysis and reliability tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in mechanical/HVAC reliability engineering.
• Knowledge of criticality and risk‑based maintenance approaches such as FMECA and REM.
• Strong understanding of reliability engineering principles, root‑cause analysis and condition monitoring techniques.
