Senior Information Technology Manager

About the role

Meydan Free Zone is seeking a dynamic Senior IT Manager with deep, hands‑on expertise across cybersecurity, enterprise networking, and telephony/unified communications. This senior technical leadership role combines strong architectural and operational command of infrastructure and security with the maturity to lead a team, manage vendors, and engage confidently with senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Own and continuously strengthen the company’s cybersecurity posture across network, endpoint, cloud, and identity, managing tools such as firewalls, EDR, SIEM, and PAM.
• Lead vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, incident response, remediation and drive compliance with ISO 27001, DESC ISR and other security standards.
• Design, implement and manage enterprise LAN/WAN, SD‑WAN, wireless, cloud and on‑premise infrastructure, ensuring performance, security, capacity and business continuity.
• Oversee backup, disaster recovery, and regular testing of RTO/RPO requirements.
• Manage enterprise telephony, SIP, PBX/UC platforms, call routing and mobile/SIM services, including vendor contracts, SLAs and cost optimisation.
• Lead and develop IT teams across cybersecurity, infrastructure, networking and telephony, and report on performance, risks and key projects to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Telecommunications or related field.
• 8‑10 years progressive, hands‑on IT experience with deep expertise in cybersecurity, enterprise networking and telephony/UC.
• At least 3 years of team leadership or managerial experience building technical teams.
• Proven experience owning security architecture and incident response in a mid‑to‑large enterprise.
• Experience supporting ISO 27001 or equivalent information security frameworks and audit cycles.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP or CISM, CCNP/CCIE or equivalent, ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor.
